C: Have you ever heard or read anything in the press abour yourself that has made you really upset? M: Because I play a girl who's a bit of a rich snob, I think maybe I'm seen as this teen idol who's perfect in every way. She doesn't always feel like she completely fits in.
M: I once heard that I was being called too skinny and they were saying I was anorexically skinny. That's kind of funny, because I don't see myself that way at all. I think Marissa will probably be that girl who leaves home, who wants to get out of that whole scene and move really far away when she's a little older. C: So every girl in America want to know: Is Ben Mc Kenzie a great kisser??
Cosmo: Growing up in New York City, were you a club kid? I don' like huge crowd's which is why I prefer to hang out in lounges. I met with him after and he was like, "I want you to do my [new] show." He really pushed to make me Marissa. M: It's really weird when people scrutinize every little thing about you and talk about your outfits and your weight and who you're dating…and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Even if I got out, I don't like to push it too much. M: I had done a guest apperance on [executive producer] Mc G's other show, Fastlane. C: What's it like having people pick apart everything you wear and everything you do and following you around all the time?
I think it's funny because they announce it like it's a fact: "O. It was a little strange when they would say like "Can he get on top of you now?
The pair both star in the hit show in recurring roles that fell in love over the course of the show's first season.
I just wouldn't do anything that's blatantly gratuitous."C: Before your current Neutrogena campaign, had you ever done any modeling?
M: When I was 10 or 11, I did the Calvin Klein campaign. I would walk into a theater, and the would be my face on popcorn bags, and I would see myself on the sides of buses. I still take high school classes even though I have my GED, because I love school and I want to get into a good college.
The couple was most recently spotted celebrating together at the 2015 Emmys at Fox's post-award show bash and posing for photos along the red carpet—Baccarin dressed in a sizzling crimson gown with sheer lace detailing designed by Reem Acra.
While they weren't seen being overtly affectionate, they were mingling together and chatting, keeping a low-key profile on their fresh romance.
